This Privacy Policy explains how BillProof handles your information.

BillProof is designed to help you store and organize receipts, bills, warranty details, product photos, serial numbers, and related purchase records.

Information You Add to the App

BillProof may store information that you choose to add, such as:

  • Product names

  • Categories

  • Purchase dates

  • Warranty dates

  • Store or seller names

  • Notes

  • Serial numbers

  • Model numbers

  • Receipt photos

  • Warranty card photos

  • Product photos

  • Other item-related details

This information is entered and controlled by you.

Local Storage

BillProof stores your app data on your device by default.

We do not require you to create an account to use the app.

iCloud Sync

If you enable iCloud sync, your supported BillProof data may sync using your personal Apple iCloud account.

Your iCloud data is managed by Apple and subject to Apple’s iCloud terms and privacy practices.

To use iCloud sync, you must be signed in to iCloud on your Apple device.

Purchases

BillProof may offer in-app purchases, such as BillProof Pro.

Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store your full payment card details.

Apple may provide us with limited purchase-related information required to unlock or restore app features.

Contact by Email

If you contact us for support, we may receive your email address and any information you choose to include in your message.

We use this information only to respond to your request, provide support, improve the app, or investigate issues.

Analytics and Tracking

BillProof does not require third-party advertising tracking.

BillProof does not sell your personal data.

If basic crash reports or diagnostics are provided by Apple, they may be used to improve app stability and performance.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your data.

We do not share your receipts, warranty details, item photos, or product records with advertisers.

Your data may be processed by Apple services when you use App Store purchases, iCloud, device backup, or other Apple system features.

Data Deletion

You can delete items inside the BillProof app.

You can also delete the app from your device to remove local app data.

If you use iCloud sync, some synced data may remain in iCloud until removed through the app or your Apple iCloud settings.

Children’s Privacy

BillProof is not intended to collect personal information from children.

If you believe a child has provided personal information through support communication, please contact us and we will take appropriate action.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.

When we make changes, we will update the “Last updated” date on this page.

By using BillProof, you agree to these Terms of Use.

Use of the App

BillProof is provided to help you organize receipts, warranties, product details, serial numbers, and related records.

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you add to the app.

Not a Warranty Provider

BillProof does not provide, extend, verify, or guarantee product warranties.

Warranty claims are handled by the product manufacturer, seller, service provider, or warranty company.

BillProof only helps you store and organize information that may be useful when making a claim.

No Guarantee of Claim Approval

Saving a receipt, bill, warranty card, or product detail in BillProof does not guarantee that a manufacturer, seller, or service provider will accept a warranty claim.

You should always check the original warranty terms from the seller or manufacturer.

Data Responsibility

You are responsible for maintaining access to your device, Apple ID, iCloud account, and backups.

If you delete the app, reset your device, lose access to your Apple ID, disable iCloud, or run out of storage, some data may become unavailable.

iCloud Sync

If iCloud sync is enabled, syncing depends on Apple iCloud availability, your Apple ID, device settings, internet connection, and available iCloud storage.

We cannot guarantee uninterrupted sync across all devices or situations.

In-App Purchases

BillProof may offer paid features through Apple’s in-app purchase system.

All purchases are processed by Apple. Refund requests and payment issues are handled according to Apple’s App Store policies.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the app, attempt to reverse engineer it, interfere with its operation, or use it for unlawful purposes.

Changes to the App

We may update, modify, add, or remove features from BillProof over time.

We may also update these Terms of Use when needed.

Limitation of Liability

BillProof is provided as a helpful organization tool.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for lost data, missed warranties, rejected claims, device issues, iCloud issues, purchase disputes, or indirect damages resulting from use of the app.
