How do I add a new item?

Open BillProof and tap the add button. Enter the product name, category, purchase date, warranty details, and attach photos such as the receipt, warranty card, product photo, or serial number.

What photos should I add?

For best results, add:

  • Product photo

  • Receipt or bill photo

  • Warranty card photo

  • Serial number or model number photo

This makes it easier to find everything during a warranty claim or service request.

Can I edit an item later?

Yes. You can open an item and update its details, notes, photos, warranty information, or category.

What happens when a warranty expires?

BillProof helps you keep track of warranty dates. You can use the app to check whether an item is active, expiring soon, or already expired.

Does BillProof require an account?

No. BillProof does not require a login or user account.

Where is my data stored?

Your data is stored on your device by default. If you enable iCloud sync, your data syncs using your personal Apple iCloud account.

How does iCloud sync work?

If iCloud sync is available and enabled, BillProof can sync supported data between your Apple devices using your iCloud account.

To use iCloud sync properly:

  • Make sure you are signed in to iCloud on your device

  • Keep iCloud Drive enabled

  • Use the same Apple ID on your devices

  • Make sure you have enough iCloud storage

I bought Pro but it is not showing. What should I do?

Open the app and use the Restore Purchase option. Make sure you are signed in with the same Apple ID used to buy BillProof Pro.

I changed my iPhone. Will my data come back?

If iCloud sync was enabled and working before changing your phone, your data may sync back when you install BillProof again and sign in with the same Apple ID.

If you were using only local storage without iCloud sync, deleting the app or changing the phone may remove locally stored app data.

Can I delete my data?

Yes. You can delete items inside the app. You can also delete the app from your device to remove local app data.

If you use iCloud sync, you may also need to manage related iCloud data from your Apple iCloud settings.

How do I report a bug?

Please email us with:

  • Your device model

  • iOS version

  • App version

  • A short description of the issue

  • Screenshots if possible
